 My name is Julie Norwood and I created my company , "Colorado Country Creations ", 8 yrs ago. I am a stay at home mom with 2 wonderful girls. Jamie and Shelbie. My husband James is in the Air Force and sometimes has to leave for periods of a time and our oldest daughter, Shelbie, has special needs which makes it difficult to work outside of the home on a regular bases, so my soap business started.
I love the smells of a bath and body shop and wanted to make affordable quality products for everyone to enjoy and love. Since starting to make soaps I have strived to make quality products. Living in Colorado, you tend to have very dry skin and no matter what you try, it seems to only mask the dryness. After research and trying different companies and their products, I have found ingredients that I feel benefit your skin the most.
Many of my products were created from the ideas of my closest friends and family whom I use as test subjects. I highly scent my products for the sense benefits. Scents reflect your mood. Aromatherapy is more more popular now than ever. Stress reducers, calmers, relaxation, pick me ups to name a few. Fruit and Sweet scents take you back to childhood memories and that kid like feeling that just gives you that "happy " feeling. Smell peppermint and think of Christmas time, Cinnamon and Apples and think of Fall, Citrus and you think of a fresh orange in the spring or a cold glass of lemonade in the summer. Many of us have memories related to scents and I wanted to bring you a whole wonderful experience for the body and soul. |
